Midnight Downloads is a wonderful story authored by Wendy J. As Piper mentioned, long ago (back to Pres. Bush 1 ) or earlier, (It's been so long), Wendy pulled her story from a couple of sites, but left it at a couple of others that you have to work to get to. When she did this, she sent me the entire thing. She had gone through and edited and cleaned up the first 30 chapters and re-released them at that point. She had also done a couple more that she never got to release in the up-dated form. She also had a couple of chapters that have never seen the light of being released. She gave me specific permission to pass the story along to deserving readers, at that point. Frank, I think I sent that to you, if I recall that far back. I just checked and the assembled date into a word doc was back in 2005, so it's been at least seven years. I have through chapter 45 with some after that, but the final ones are incomplete, just parts written in, and a couple are just like notes or an outline of how she wanted the chapter to go. I have something like 750 plus pages in word doc format for this tale, and it is worth every single second it takes to read it. Up until she pulled her on line presence, and stopped answering my emails and chat requests, and snail mail, I begged her to continue the effort, but her health and other things precluded it. I have periodically made it a point to offer this to those that request it, and I reckon it is now time again. I have to honor her request and ask those I may have sent it to, to keep it to yourself, as it is a copywrited work and is still her property(at least I consider it so).
