are you sure she's not just repeating what heard someone else say? I agree with Extravagance we do not know the whole situation.

Seems like everyone that I know that started down the transition road, at least at first encountered a lot of rejection, and pain. Most of my family still do not talk to me, and in fact have accused me of horrific sin. I started out pretty much from Baptist stock, just like you.

Yet, lots of the people I know who start down the pain road seem shocked at the consequences, and how much it actually hurts when those we love reject us.

Damn girl, this is going to hurt much worse than it is now. Still, some of us still do it anyhow. I tried to make the lame ass excuse that it was the psych drugs that made me do it, but after over 7 years, I have to admit that I am happier than I have ever been.

Still this is apt to hurt more than you ever wanted it to, and our dim little minds try to rationalize that "somehow they will see within my head, read my mind, and somehow know how much I need to do it. Yeah, well sweetheart it doesn't work that way.

Transition is not for the faint of heart.

Are you sure these are your daughters words and Thoughts or is she parroting her Mom. Best way to attack a spouse is, by using the kids to do the attacking. Crying won't help. Actually it's the worst you can do. Since she started the discussion, you are now free to pursue it. You have been reluctant to do so. You no longer need to do be afraid. Also you were afraid she might not be able to understand. Well teach her.

About that I will say this.

To thine own self be true, then you can be false to no other. It is sometimes the hardest thing in the world to do is to take your self to be important in this equation. Others do not suffer as you do so there talk is cheep, they will not or can not feel your pain and suffering so telling you to just deal with is costs them nothing. And giving them what they want will not please them either. My love and caring goes out to you and your child, and I pray that you can be strong and be true to your self.

Premarin is one of the most used female hormones in the WORLD tday, and you daughter might have found out the drug's terrible secret.

Premarin name is actually derived from what it's made of... Pregnant Mares Urine. ( Truely - look it up ). and of course a " side effect " of having a pregnant mare ( horse ) is a baby horse! ( Duh! ) The females are placed back on the production line, but the baby colts ( males ) are sold to slaughter houses and shipped to both Eroupe and Japan for meat!

How do I KNOW this, well the humane socity buys the better/healthier ones and adopts them out in the US... we have one!

All this info is out there so you can look it up yourself ( don't take my word for it.) One of the better sites for the info is PETA ( most of the time I think they go WAY overboard... but here they are right on targret.

Not really. They wouldn't

Not really. They wouldn't even be alive in the first place if it wasn't for human needs. They're animals, it's not beautiful, but I wouldn't call it evil. A child might do so though.

Choice of oestrogenes

Dear Dorothy,
There are many choices of medicines having estrogenic actions. The most evident would of course be oestrogen by it self or with some modifications to make the original substance a better effect. Premarine (R) has been called obsolet by several national buros for medicines. Partly because it is a preparation of nature origine, that has not been fully defined. From the beginning it was a good medicine as it was so easily /?/ extracted, but as soon as the original patents had expired many other producers would start to mix the known substances that were known at that time and sell it under a brand name like the original preparation. The original producer then started to analyze the urine extract more thoroughly and found more substances that even had greater effect than the original mixture ( meassuring effect versus substance ammount). This stopped the "me-too-preparations" from using the brandname on their products. To use an undefined preparation instead of the pure substances can always give unknown side-effects. That is the critical point why national buros of medicine has excluded premarine preparations from the list of approved medicines. I therefore would advice you to stay away from that preparation.
