I want to wish everyone the happiest of holidays, whether you celebrate today, or another day, or every day, whether you're religious, or secular, observant, or not! And, best wishes for peace, equality, health, wealth, and happiness in the New Year!

I know Thanksgiving was last month, and all, but I find myself thinking today of all the things I have to be thankful for, great and small. My Sweetie and I decided not to give each other presents today, because truly, we already have what we want.

In a little while, I'll be getting ready to go off to Meeting at our local Quaker meeting house, to sit in silent worship with a wonderful bunch of people who I've come to know over the last couple years. I expect it to be awesome.

Someone blogged about a notoriously flamboyant hateful homophobic church the other day, and I posted my thoughtful response last night. This morning, I can't stop smiling at the irony of it all.
