It was 6 years ago yesterday that I first joined the Big Closet community, so I think it's sensible to look back a bit.

I have not always been the most active of people, in fact after posting my first story, I was quiet for a long time.

Several years ago, I got back into and was quite active, and then over the past year or so, work requirements have really taken their toll on my free time, and so most of my free time is spent with my family. But I'm still on here at least a little bit every day, and keeping an eye on stories that post, and the blogs to keep my toes in.

I would love to say that I've been able to focus on my writing, but time and energy haven't been there, despite the best of intentions.

Having said that, this community provides so much to me on a daily basis.

I'd like to thank a few people in particular that have always been there for me,

Brea, Mutabilis and Jennifer Brock - your friendship on the chat room has been a blessing.

Pippa, you were one of the first people that gave me such wonderful encouragement on Jason's Story, and helped to shape its early direction, and then finding you in chat as well to become close.

Joni W - your help with editing Jason and Kelly, was indespensible. I know we have not touched base in a long time, and I'm at such a point where my writing is so intermittent I have just needed to post what I could when I could for the past couple of pieces. But no mistake, that story is far, far better because of your help, and I am eternally greatful!

Angela Rasch, I treasure the friendship that we have formed, and truly know that our discussions on writing have improved the stories that I have been able to write over the past couple of years.

And what can I say, Andrea... You have been such a friend, my "partner in crime" and have blessed both FanficWriter and myself with your kind words and

And so many others too numeroous to name, that I have spoken with in the chat room, or via comments, you all are such a joy, and comfort for that part of me that is Kristine V. Roland.

Finally, none of this of course would be possible without the support of Erin, and her efforts at keeping Big Closet such a fantastic place. Thank you so much, Erin. It was such a pleasure to meet you face to face a couple of years ago, and I hope we will get the opportunity again some time.
