Not Yourself
It has been my experience that most never show up
for work as themselves. Before I was forced to
retire as the result of an injury I use to rub my
face to get a glow and put on a smile before I
walked into the offices. Never worked to well my
real self usually shown through. I tend to be
transparent. Anyway, back to your problem get the
paycheck and smile to the bank. No one really cares
who you are unless you rock the boat. Don't rock
the boat unless your services are hard to come by,
or you own the company.
Let me give you an example, at some function I was
washing dishes with a trustee of a major school
district. We got into hiring practices and he told
me they recently hired someone over 50 because they
had no choice. He was a math teacher and they are,
or were hard to come by. Otherwise they would not
have hired him if it were to teach English.
Good Luck
I have an interview this afternoon.
we will have to see how that goes.
