I've been a little depressed these last few weeks, and usually when I'm depressed I avoid people in real life and I spend more time online. This isn't exactly the greatest cure for depression.

Anyway, the result is that I've corresponded a little more with people here in the past week than I otherwise ought have, and in the process have been less than thoughtful toward at least one of them. I've apologised via PM to her, but in the meantime my apologies if I said anything in my usual nitpicky manner that offended anyone else.

I'm probably going to shut up for a while. Maybe I should channel the online time into actually finishing one of the seven stories I've had languishing on my computer for some years now.
