New chapter for everybody to enjoy. This one was just over 4k words and thus one of the longer chapters in the story, but since it involved Thanksgiving it made sense to make it longer than normal.

This one goes to several interesting places. One of my more favorite was the information about Sarah Lawrence. The term is real. I had a student there tell me the term when I was presenting at a Conference there, talking about Transgender Autobiography. That has apparently been a thing at the school for quite a while, apparently before the late 60's when all the cool kids were doing it.

Knowing I had that in mind, I have been really enjoying peoples comments about Fae. Early on it seemed as if people were unhappy with her and that relationship. That has changed as people were able to see the fullness of the relationship develop over time. Things are better for our hero, but they are still not fixed. Relationships are filled with fun like this.

Also the food craving thing, especially for dirt... yeah, that is also real. Creepy. For those who read Tangled Up In Green, my Kim Possible fan fiction, the same thing happened there as that is one of those things that amazes me about people. Freaky, wanting to eat dirt. And that is not even the really scary cravings. Some of those are downright noxious. Ewwww...

The other thing I got a kick out of was the way Heidi was acting. I based her reactions off a number of kids reactions I have seen and heard of. Kids can really deal with this sort of stuff and keep on trucking. As long as they know you love them and care for them they can accept an awful lot. Again, pretty cool.
