A new chapter and things change yet again. Poor Geoff can't catch a break can he. Man, I hate it when that happens.
This was another new chapter to what I had already written and it certainly was a doozy. I realized that I needed them to go through this in order for things to progress the way I wanted them to. When I wrote this for Nano a few years ago I hadn't gotten anything like this chapter or the one where they do the review for the book and the intro for everyone as to some of the tribal data. I simply did my 50k, stopped and then wrote Tangled Up In Green which is posted at fanfiction.net. That one was 180+k words in about 3 months. So yeah... that was a lot of work, far more than 300 Rains.
I am hoping that 300 Rains is going over well, even though the poor guy is going through hell now, remember I did put Romantic as one of the tabs. That element is in the story, never fear. You just have to earn it. :)
Have a good time reading and I know I am having a good time writing. Until next blog post,
Ciao

I AM enjoying it!
300 rains was not a story that I thought would be interesting to me, at least, not at first. I avoided the first couple of episodes, but when I had read everything else that was new, It just sort of pulled me in. Like so many other stories, though, I quickly became addicted. I really enjoy reading it, even though I am currently very frustrated with Geoff/Melanie. He really needs someone (and I hope that it will be Fae) to pull his head out of his ass.
I can tell it's a good story, because I care! When you drag me in, and make me feel for the characters, it feels so good (yet so frustrating! I look forward to reading a novel from you, where I can just sit down and read the whole thing!), and I cannot wait for the next chapter!
Thanks, Heather.

I seem to have a great
I seem to have a great ability to write things that people really do enjoy and sometimes love when they read them, but don't really do much to draw in the reader. Perhaps my biggest issue. I am just glad that people are enjoying the read and that they are getting even more invested as the novel goes along.
