I actually managed to finish (more or less) my Summer Romance contest entry last night. It's kind of rough, but done. I still need to do some minor formatting stuff with it and give it a title. Then I'll go through it one last time and probably tidy up the ending a bit. So I'll probably be posting it sometime between eight and ten tonight (Pacific Time). A bit last minute, I know, but this one has been a bit of a pain.
At times it practically wrote itself, and other times I'd just get stuck and couldn't write a word. It came out quite different than what I'd intended, and that probably is going to result in something less than my best work (Actually, I'm rather certain it is less than my best, to say the least). But I put a lot of time and effort into this one, so I'm posting it no matter how bad it may be.
So, my apologies in advance for how low the quality is on this one. Also, for posting it so close to the deadline. Especially since it's about 23,000 words long!
I probably would have had it done sooner, but I got some rather bad news about a friend the other day and it kind of got me down. She's not dying or anything, but she's been taken off of HRT because of her medical issues. Hopefully once she's recovered a bit she'll be able to find some options that currently seem non-existent. What she's going through is pretty much my worst nightmare, so I'm worried about her.

I'm so glad
that you were able to get it done. I'll look forward to reading it. They don't all have to be read by tonight, thankfully, so I think I'll take my time and savor it. I knew you could do it. Way to go!!!
She was born for all the wrong reasons but grew up for all the right ones.

Thanks!
I had nearly given up on getting this done in time, so it was a real relief to finish it after all.
