Well, since I started having serious flashbacks, I am also aware of being in a fog mentally. Today, someone was asking me about somethin i said a couple of days ago, and I had no memory of it at all.I also have had no creative abilities at all, been unable to work on my writing. Hopefully the fog lifs soon.

Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
Like several of us here, I suffer from memories as well resultant from abuse as a child. PTSD is tenacious and comes at you from so many sides. The lack of comprehension and concentration is likely due to depression, which is a common problem secondary to your PTSD. Your GP or a psychiatrist can prescribe an anti-depressant that can help with the symptoms. Best Regards.
Well, with me, I've been in
Well, with me, I've been in a fog for a while. I finally decided to get out of Egypt and went to the family doctor. (De nile isn't just a river). So, I'm going through the side effects now. I'll know in a week or two if it's helping.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.

That sounds alike a depression Dorothy.
You will make it through it though, medication or no medication. It's been spring for quite some while, the time of year when people seems to feel at worse. You should still do a check up though, just to make sure there is no physical problem interfering. Remember that body and mind are intertwined, a little like a Möbius strip. But do that check up to be sure. As for writing i know that all to well, just started today after like six months.. But it's all part of life Dorothy, and while you're vegetating there will be secret seeds sprouting, becoming new and lovely stories in your mind as that fog let off.
Be cool, it will work out.
