I know that it is not good form to cheer at the misfortune of another; forbidden in my religion, but I could not resist this. Maybe this is simply justice being administered in an unusual way?

And, on the heels of all this, is my own son insisting that if I am unable to um ... "control myself", then how can I expect him to control himself? I have a pretty good idea what he is trying to control. Interesting.

more and more i feel sure
that the reason why these guys spend so much energy hating gays, lesbians, trans, ect, is they have serious problems, most often with the very issues they fight against. Its kinda sad, really.
Dobson's gangsters
I had been a really devout and involved Christian before this reared its ugly head, and then I fought it as hard as I could for a long time. Then when I got outed, well, they trashed me in a weeks' time. Every single Christian Counselor, Billy Graham's people, and Focus on the Family all said I was deeply in a willful sin.
So, I used one of their own Guns on them. To one of Dobson's counselor I said,"In the Holy Blood of Jesus Christ our Lord, I pray that you will not have peace until you stop persecuting me and those like me, and that you let your hearts open to the idea that my sin is not willful, Amen". It astonished the Counselor, since this is like supposed to be the really Big Gun in Christianity; reserved for the most serious of matters. The next day, I repeated the oath to him via Email.
I never heard from them again, and unless I am totally wrong, his Exodus International fell apart not long afterward. Of course, they never stooped to actually support one of us.
