Still having fun
I keep experimenting with color but so far I'm not happy with my choices. As far as the characters, I've got Zook down pretty good, but I'm still having some trouble with the turtle and drawing the duckling's head is a real trial. :)
Writing it is fun, silliness and wordplay. Gaspo-ventriloquist, snerk! Okay, it cracks me up, at least.
The landscapes. I didn't grow up around trees and waterways, I'm a desert kid. We did have marshes though, alkaline mini-lakes in bleak flatlands with ducks, frogs, turtles and other critters. And wildflowers in the spring painting the desert with every possible color.

TG Frogs?
Well, they are hard to sex, though often the females are bigger.
We have alkaline ponds or creeks here in SE Wisconsin, but they're not very alkaline, more like magnesium calcium carbonate saturated springs -- contact springs -- and are very few and far between.
Is the Frog Union AFL/CIO or Teamsters affiliated? No way is it the IBEW, too much risk of eletrocution.

I actually belong to a Union, inactive. It's one of those weird amalgams that came out of the age of merger. Candymakers, meatcutters, retail clerks and typists, though they came up with a new, generic name after the final merger. Can't remember it now, but it's one of the ones that recently rebelled against the AFL/CIO so...see the subject of this comment. :)
