In a short while, I will be publishing what started out to be a comic magical change from boy to girl, framed in Afghanistan. It is fiction. There is no intent what so ever to insult any of our brave soldiers to are or have served there.
Still, if there is an Afghanistan Veteran in the audience who would like to review it for correctness regarding the Military side of it, you would be welcome to do so. My editor does not even know about it yet, and I hope that I can impose on her good will to take this one on. For reasons beyond my own understanding, I am writing about a British soldier. I am American, and served during the Vietnam Era, and did not see combat.
I sincerely hope that my story will not be insulting to any Veteran.
The story is a very different direction for me, so I am somewhat befuddled.

Give it a try
It should be an interesting story. I doubt that any vet would be reading stories on this site unless they had an interest in TG transformations. Everyone, even military veterans, have certain secrets and yearnings hidden in their hearts so there should not be a problem with your story. I hope to see it published soon.

I started off with 1095 days
I counted every one of them. I locked my emotions down; did everything they said; would not give them the satisfaction of breaking me; hated every minute; and knowing what I know now, would have gone to Canada. Vietnam was fucked up and lots of our sons died there so the big boys with cuban cigars could be fat and happy.
At least now our guys are there voluntarily, but I see them every day after they have returned. :(
