It seems a day for sad news. Farrah Fawcett has died of cancer at the age of 62. How I loved her in my teen years; of course I didn't want to be with her, I wanted to be her -- but I'm sure there are others here who can sympathize with that. I think Charlie might say something like this; "Spread your wings and fly, Angel, fly! You soar in the heavens now, forever young and beautiful."

Farrah Fawcett Will Be Missed
Thanks for not letting her death be overshadowed by Michael Jackson's. Farrah deserves attention too. :)
I never thought she was all that good looking but I found her hair to be fascinating. I'm not sure I wanted hair like hers but I liked to look at it.
I saw her in a couple shows besides Charlie's Angels and I thought she did a pretty good job. She wasn't just another pretty face.

I beg to differ.

Fair Jounrey Angel
I too heard John Forsythe's voice saying good night Angel. As a teen during the 70's, I was as fascinated as any by Farah Fawcett. Her slim beauty not to mention that hair was unforgettable. My parents never let me have one of those red swim suit posters, but like clock work I never missed an episode of Charlies's Angels. Her works later in life never brought her the popularity she had in her youth but her support for charities showed her heart.
For those of us growing up then, she was more than a sex symbol the media called her. Farah was an example of femininity to many of us. Now she is gone. Fly free, fly free.
Hugs!
