And what's with the Cheese Guy?"). The narrator, though male on the outside world, becomes various female leads, mostly so your story could be posted here. Maybe she'd been about to come out as trans when they were so rudely interrupted by the Metareality Vortex or whatever it is. It's a gimmick that's been done more than once on various fantasy, superhero + science fiction shows with some silly contrived explanation for this happening ('Oh no! It's Mister Mxyztypklix... and Q!!"), it might even be an old cliche'd trope by now; but it could result in your blog's scenario happening at some point during their wacky mostmodern adventure. If there's another way I can't imagine it at the moment...
