My thoughts on the world and what is coming about for the future! Expect at least one post from the Shady Place of my mind at least once a week or once every two weeks when I'm busy.

Dia daoibh mo gcairde! Nó sa bearla, "Hello my friends!"

It has been a very long last two or so months. Time has kind of blended together, and the stress of work in this Bloody Pandemic has only increased issues. Real life has decided to kick my family in the face more than a few times so right now I'm just weathering all the change coming my way the best I can. I wish there was more I could say on the matter, but a lot of it is just on a personal level I can't share it. What I can say is that as a cashier I am making people happy, but there are just a few Karens which drain me. It's all of the constant social interaction which leaves me so tired at the end of the day.

The stress has in turn kind of killed my writing muse which has put the brake on my story. Well, to be more specific, it's put the kaibosh of any of my hard work for Scald-Crow 2. A lot of the issues themselves are a mix of my own stress and those of my loved ones. The situation is looking better and I'm working on a few other things to exercise the old creativity muscles. I'm working a bit on my mega setting Land In The Stars as a means to keep things moving. While, I have written the first half of the last part of Scald 2, a lot of problems at the moment are making it hard to grasp the inspiration to start the scene. It just sits there and there isn't enough of a cadence for me to get started.

Meanwhile, I'm preparing for my next serious novel, Soul of Storms, and part of the project means I'm commissioning art of the main characters. This is kind of a twofold thing I'm doing since the images will also act as racial images for my setting. The commission writing itself has provided a lot of fun for me to delve into the strange biology of my science-fantasy species. With a total of five species alone in the LITS Universe it's going to be great to finally see my weird concoctions brought to life.
