I just acquired, though the auspices of a friend of mine, a totally legal licensed copy of a text-to-speech program. Pretty good app, I think, and the voice is pretty great. So, to try it out, in four or five weeks, I will be coming out with audiobooks of two of my Girl Detective stories, "Drew Nance - Girl Detective Redux: A Beginning" and "Drew Nance, Girl Detective Book 1: The Secret of the Old Clock."
So, for those who are BCTS fans, or are fans of TG/LGBT-Q type stories but have a reading impairment, or are experiencing some reading-cognition issues, and, of course, also like my stories heehee (or at least want to give them a try), please do PM/message me your names and email addresses, and if you can also let me know the file attachment limit of your email (for example, the maximum total size of the attachments in GMail and Yahoo Mail is 25MB).
Let's be clear, though - I'm not trying to be miserly with this, but I'd like the first few dozen or so to get copies are those that might really have a need for a voice-narrated book, or audio book. Okay? So everyone who wants one can send their email addresses and get a copy, but those that really need it get first crack.
K. That's it!

Cool!
And an excellent choice of stories. I love those books. I won't want an audio copy as I find I MUCH prefer to read stories than to listen to them.
There are some text to speech programs out there with AWESOME sounding voices. I've heard some of then narrating reddit stories on YouTube and the only reason I realize it is text to speech is because sometimes the text has a miss spelling or an anachronism that the software reads very differently than the way a human would. Like reading "(26m)" as "26 meters" instead of "26, male".
