Things Girls NEVER talk about

Only from a man could the subject line be true. But only in their tiny little brain. Girls may or may not be human depending on who one asks the question. Do girls still iron things? Come on it's not a trick question. Except it is, depends on the girl doesn't it? Way back in the dark ages while holding onto a hot rock warmed by the sun, I was ironing out Errp's lizard skin shift. I said shift because back then we didn't name our body cover. There were some of Errps friends who didn't bother with such things..., I digress. I'm several thousand years old, I'm allowed to wander with my thoughts. Let's see how well you're holding up when you get my age. Okay Barb, back on track. And I wasn't always named Barbie...

Anyway, as I was ironing out Errgs dinosaur skin...,? Or was it lizard skin? Doesn't matter, I tossed the hot rock back out of the cave and told him to he needed to get up to date and start wearing skins with fur on them. He bought into it. I only told him that so I wouldn't have to iron out any more wrinkles in skins. The fur hid the wrinkles. I was an emancipated woman! Shouldn't I receive a badge or some recognition for what I had done? Think of all the women down through the ages who stopped ironing because after seeing Errp their knuckle draggers started wearing fur skins and they no longer had to iron.

That lasted for several thousand years until some fool decided cotton could be grown, spun into thread, woven into fabric and made into clothes. I hope they hanged him! Women were once again forced to iron out the wrinkles in clothes. And to make it even worse, some idiot came up with fashions which meant big voluminous dresses and acres of ironing for one single gown. I hope the hanged him too! The problem of ironing kept getting worse instead of better up until the current fifties when nylons and synthetics were introduced and woven into the cotton fabrics along with pure synthetic fabrics none of which had to be ironed. I hope they gave him a medal and a billion dollars.

Are you still with me? I'm a synthetic girl. All my jeans, blouses, shirts and a forth of my dresses don't need ironing. Anything that does a short spin in the dryer with some tennis shoes, pull it out hot and wallah, wrinkle free. Sadly life hates me as I found not all jeans and denim skirts can be pounded into submission inside a hot dryer with tennis shoes. My denim mini skirt refused to submit to torture in the dryer. The back hem is turned up and besides not being fashionable it kinda looks obscene. I'm not in any mood to go trolling for a man so the skirt had to shape up. I broke down and purchased an iron and as I cried tears getting the hem damp I put the skirt on the dryer and ironed it. I guess I lost any chance at that medal for freeing women from ironing?

Okay, don't go away, one more complaint. It's none of anyone's business but I am a thirty four C. I'm wondering if any of you ladies have the same problem with bras as I do? No, not the one where manufactures can't agree exactly what a 34 C size really is. I swear it has to be men designing and sewing bras because no two brands are the same size even when they claim they are. Get serious for a minute. Do any of you ladies have a problem with your bra riding up and you get some leakage out of the bottom of the bra? I know I'm active and yes I have sports bras but they do tend to flatten one. I've heard them called a girdle for one's breasts and they are. The question stands, if one is active and it isn't a sports bra, and one doesn't leak after a few hours of exercise. PM me and let me know what mfg you're using.

Okay guys you can stop snickering now. I'm a girl, I'm human, and yes us girls discus absolutely everything. Or the girls and women I was raised with did. Problem is, all those strong, amazing, pioneer women are no longer so I can't ask them. God, I miss them.

Life is a gift. don't be afraid to live it. If that other person has a problem with how you look, they need to get a life of their own.
