I actually thought this patron thing was something you and Piper set up, I didn't realize it was the Patron thing online. So what is the difference (material-wise) between this and Hatbox? Do you have to join both (aka pay them off) to see all the stories?

They're different
But there's overlap.
Stuff that goes on Patreon may be exclusive (Patrons only) for a bit, but within a week or so, it will be free to read for anyone. Hatbox is sort of the opposite, most of the stuff in Hatbox WAS available free on BC but now is available from the Hatbox and has been removed from TopShelf.
Some of the Hatbox stuff is also available as part of a Kindle book via DopplerPress.
