The Fall of Kruhl

By Daniel A. Wolfe

A young woman, naked and delirious from fever, appears on the streets of Tondzaosha, Idaho while a dark cloaked figure lurks in the darkness. She bears a sword, containing a power the likes of which the world has never seen. This weapon could bring salvation or it could spell certain doom for everyone.

Well, here it is at last, the first part in my new story, and the sequel to Psyren's Redemption, The Fall of Kruhl. I'm excited to share this one with you and I hope you enjoy it.

Please click this link to read the first part.

As always I ask that you please take a moment to leave a comment. Not only does it help encourage me to continue, it may afford you the chance to influence future story parts.

Excellent Graphics, Prelude

Your book, graphics, would pull me in enough to pick the book up. Your prelude artfully done, would pull me deeper into opening and scanning the story line. You skillfully passed with the best publishers, in the almost impossible task of getting readers to even notice the book among hundreds on the shelf. Then comes too more hurdles, get them to pick it up and open it. Then the prelude must pull them into delving further into the book for a brief taste of the story line and the author's writing skills. Provided your story is like Uncle Remus Tar Baby and they can't put the book down so they walk out the door after purchasing it. You have probably gained a dozen new readers from that one sale as they share the story after reading the book, with dozens of their friends. From then on, your name as the author, not the story title, will be the reason they pick up your books.
always,
Barb
We never know how much the world was changed by one individual who is as important in the total scheme of things, as much as Einstein, Marie Curie, Churchill, etc. But they did it softly, quietly, without history acknowledging them for their donation to our world.

Well thank you! And doubly thanks for sharing your appreciation for the cover art, I so seldom hear anything about my photo/render manipulations.

Have delightfully devious day,

I love the name

it reminds me of tom swift, the hardy boys, nancy drew, and gor all at once.

it's a great start.

Ha!

Well, I was definitely inspired by old sword and sorcery stories when I came up with Kruhl's backstory and the story title. Serena and the Lost Girl is just the chapter title, but yes, you seem to be right it does call back to all those works. Such an odd combination... ;)

Have delightfully devious day,

Very Nice Start.

It will be interesting to see where you take us now.

Let's hope
