I think you had two story types. One was books like "There's No Such Thing As A Superhero", "Ring of Change" and "Amber Alert". Stories involving young kids growing up, with a liberal splash of miracles. The other involved 20-somethings in a military or police setting like "Behind the Enemy", "Fight or Flight", "The Candy Cane Club" and "Queen of Hearts" and had little or no fantasy, significant science fiction or miracles involved.

And I absolutely adore all of these earlier books and have read many of them many times. In fact, there are a number of them that I have re-read 5 times or more. But your recent stuff (stuff after "Tamsyn" and "Higher Than Eagles") I've only read zero or one times and I don't remember the plots.
