It took 6 months but I finally finished chapter 7 of The Puppeteer. First time that's ever happened. Why; you ask. Ok. picture this. You're painting a whole room and stop when you realize you've literally painted yourself into the opposite corner. Unfortunately you just HAPPEN to be wearing your precious iced pink satin Valentino ballgown and 1100 dollar(made to fit only you) Dalco pumps. Ok, just have to wait for the paint to dry, finish up and walk out, right? Wrong. the paint dries to the wrong shade and the floor turns out to be warped enough to show with that hideous color! Yeah, that's where I've been for 6 months on that chapter until today. I waited for it all to dry, go change, tear out the floor, replace it and THEN paint it the right color. don't ask if I finally got my collective shit together, I haven't a clue.

...because you figured out what you needed to do and did it to complete the chapter. You sound very together to me. So go forth and write at whatever pace is right for you and continue to be a mistress of great writing!
Just remember the only three rules that matter......
1) A liberal application of duct tape will fix anything.
2) There are few problems that can’t be solved with enough firepower.
3) In combat, quantity has a quality all it’s own.
But the only words that my father ever told me that were worth remembering are these........
1) Life without honor means nothing.
2) Never forget you have a duty to those less fortunate than you.
3) Take care of your troops and they will take care of the mission.
4) Always cut the cards.
When you boil it all down, there aren’t that many real truths in life.
