Interresting read
And I have to agree, that yes, I myself are definitely from the wrong Trans Generation. It is fabulous to see the visibility of young trans people, truly.
Growing up in the 1970s and having my teenage years in the 1980s(still the best decade musically) the word Transgender or Transsexual did not exist in South Africa. A country, then ruled by an almost Fascist Iron hand of the Ultra Conservative Afrikaner White minority(of which I am unluckily part of by blood).
But I digress...
The main point is, we are seeing more youngsters represent the TG community but my problem is this, and yes, I know the entertainment world and social media world has the attention span of an amoeba and need fresh and young talent, but who will represent the middle age to older Trans community in the public eye. Or do we just not really exist?
but it is the rare moments of beauty and peace
in between the chaos,
That makes it worth living."

For middle age?
For middle age?
The Wachowski sisters and Chaz Bono have done well so far, even if Chaz was seen as a comic fodder person for comics a decade ago. The sisters have long chops with some of the best resumes in Hollywood so it's hard to insult them without harming yourself in that town.
I'm told STFU more times in a day than most people get told in a lifetime
