Umm...
I was all for planned parenthood... Now I am close to 50 and have no children while some of my classmates who had just enjoyed themselves are now proud parents and are enjoying being grandparents...
So... It is not that simple. Trans community or not.
Switch off your mind. Do anything (if it is not considered rape) to procreate. I had not done it. I regret it.
Every time I see a child my feminine side kicks me: "so what if you had been a father of the unplanned child? This one would have been your child or grandchild..."
I don't want to minimize your pain
but as the spouse of a child protective worker I have seen far too many unplanned children go through hell with parents who were not prepared for them. Fortunately, most children have loving parents who end up raising decent kids, but it is a long and trying task, not the rosy picture many childless people envision.
Many cities have foster grandparents programs. Not a perfect solution but give it a try.

I'll get a life when it's proven and substantiated to be better than what I'm currently experiencing.
Problem is
ManicRacer is Russian so programs in US are useless.
For me being trans is does cause conflict. As it turns out both of my brothers do not have genetic children so our line ends here. *sigh*
The have no child advocacy
The have no child advocacy programs in Russia (or wherever ManicRacer lives?).
Big Brother/Big Sister is another program in the US, which I believe has similar programs elsewhere. Even just setting up a teaching class on how to do something can help children with few people to pay attention to them.
My family doesn't tend to have a lot of children, for whatever reason (in the patrilinear line). Even after over 1200 years, I doubt there are more than 5,000 of us in North America. (No, those years weren't a typo)

What if you had been a mother? Certainly being a mother is not restricted to giving birth. There is adoption ... And there is love, that simply gives to any child no matter what.
Regrets about personal decisions don't get you anywhere, concentrate on the present and how and where you want to and can give motherly love and then DO IT!
I have a young Indian lady whom I found on LinkedIn and helped her to get into studies in the Netherlands. She has become like a daughter to me, so I do not only give love like a mother, I receive the friendship, appreciation and trust of a young woman, who now follows the carreer of her dreams. Isn't that what being a mother (parent) is about?

I got my brothers children when he committed suicide,
as it happens, that saved my life when my dysphoria took a turn for the worst.
Honestly
For me here, they are one of the only groups who are willing to help with medical stuff and gender stuff without demanding a kidney in return. At least in Virginia, they have been helping trans individuals for some time with doctor's appointments, hormones, etc.
