Thursday was quite OK, not exactly "happy-happy-sing-and-dance" happy, but not bad. And it is snowing. First snow of this winter season that has a chance to survive through to the spring. And my new winter tires, that I started to regret buying, as they were quite terrible on the dry and wet asphalt, feel quite OK on snow and ice covered asphalt. So it was not a waste of good money.
But... Nasty pricky small but plentiful heavy fast "snowflakes", that feel like billions of 0.5 mm snowballs are hitting you at supersonic speeds, because of strong northerly wind of Arctic cyclone meeting peaceful Atlantic cyclone... I am looking for a job in any tropical country again :-) Sadly they prefer to build data centers around here where the cold is free for more than 6 months of the year, and hot is couple of weeks a year if you get _very_ lucky...
