Sorry I haven't been able to complete the rewrite/edit and get the next chapter posted yet. This chapter had the most rewriting needed and we've had a really nasty heat wave here that had mostly turned me into a mindless vegetable once home from work. Good news is the heat wave has passed and I can get back to my normal routine :)

I'm in the U.S. upper midwest area. You would think being this far north the temperatures in the summer would not be so bad the truth is in the summer I often check the temps back in Key West and find it cooler there than here. Then there is the humidity, which seems to always be high.
I often tell people I live next door to Hell, as it's hotter than hell in the summer and colder than hell in the winter here.
You know it's a cold winter day when the weatherman on TV points out that it's warmer at the north pole, (Yes this has really happened)
We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.
Okay, so ....
That lets me know generally where you're at, and yea the humidity can get horrendous up there ( I have family up there). But what are you calling a heat wave? What kinda temps did you see?
I'm a bit "south" of you in Texas, so I doubt you're going to shock me with the answer ... but you never know. ;-)

Heat Wave?
Heat wave? What heat wave? I don't know where you are but here in NEPA we had one hot day for the spring and that was almost like an anomaly. Now it is back to below 80° days and about 50° overnight. Hope you make good progress with the writing.

8 days of 95 degrees f 3 of them 105 plus with heat index mama bear and cubs moved in to the creek had to keep the kids away from the spot. Nuuan is not in the same part of the country as me pulled up heat maps and hot there too hundreds of miles away. Have a good day and enjoy life.
