I had a funny thing happen at church today. It seems that a tomboy at church thinks that I am the perfect person to give her lessons on how to be a lady. She came up to me and said " I am trying to become more lady like and you are the most feminine lady as per my mom." Now I am very happy to have gotten the compliment, but I also think it's funny that I am 11 years post op, yes feminine facial surgery and also a bit of work done as well. That being said HER mom says she could learn to be more lady like from ME. I am just glad her mom does not know my story of how I became the lady I am. Just a a funny for today in my life.

A Total Compliment
You should be very proud that all your hard work is recognised.
There is a parallel
Think of it. You started out a lot more than a tomboy. Then as you made the decision transition, you had to come from a point very similar to where she's at. Unlearning boyish habits, learning to do makeup appropriately, gaining a fashion sense... all things a trans-woman and a tomboy need to do.
