Well met, fellow writers and readers - I'd like to introduce myself :)

About myself, Machara Stormwing

You can call me Machara. It's been a few years when I first visited BigCloset - to be honest, I don't know when that was exactly, but probably sometime in 2012 or 2013. Since then, especially since fall of 2013, I've been an avid reader. I've liked fiction, both in the fantasy and science aspect since at least two decades, maybe my whole life. I've enjoyed roleplaying and been part of the furry fandom since my very early 20s and always have been somewhat of a geek.
Along with that, I've been exploring my feminine side - almost since the beginning with my life partner Chryos Stormwing. This has intensified when I started reading more TG fiction on BigCloset and other sites. Beginning of 2014 I started transitioning and was soon living as a Woman.
For a long time, I had inclinations as an author, but either work, depression or lack of persistence kept me from producing much. I hope this is changing a bit, now. Please forgive my sometimes less than smooth English, having been born, raised and living in Austria.

My first story here

I have been roleplaying on and off, and loved building worlds and exploring and developing characters, mostly with my now fiancé Chryos. Since about two months we are continuing on our biggest roleplay yet. The context has been inspired by several worlds present here - Whateley Academy, MORFS universe and Gabyverse. Doing so has actually helped me as a person. I have enjoyed it so much that I felt like sharing, thinking the story might be of interest to others. Recently I started working to adapt the chat log into an actual story. It has been more challenging than I thought - having to translate the initial part (what make up most of the first two chapters now) from German, correcting spelling, rephrasing and fixing consistency issues have been slowing me down. I am now however at a point where I hope to be able to post the first chapter (of the 13 that exist now, mostly in it's original). Currently, the working title is "Of Families and Dragons" and I may stick with it. This leads me to the third paragraph of this blog post.

Seeking a Reviewer/Editor and Guide

Since this my first bigger publication I am still an inexperienced Author. I am searching for someone that is interested to review and possibly edit my work. While I plan to retain the general structure an and storyline - it is hard to change in a big way since 1) the story is still ongoing and has no end in sight and 2) Chryos is steering the story progression almost as much as I am - I'm open to corrections, starting from simple typos, to making the text flow better and finally fixing consistency issues. Someone that could be an actual guide to become a better author would be the ideal.
In return, you get access to all the story as it exists at a given time (maybe the actual story is as captivating to you as it is to us) and special thanx in each chapter that I post.

Thanx for reading! Feedback is welcome :)
Yours, Machara Stormwing

Welcome to BC

While transformational stories are not my bag, I wish you every success with your efforts in writing and I'm sure someone will help you with editing and posting.

Best wishes,

Angharad

Thanx Angharad :)

I guess transformation is indeed part of the story, but I'd like to comment also for other reader's sake that a big focus is on social interaction and character development, besides the obvious alternate mutant universe.

Your story

Your story description seems to be something I definitively want to read.
I would like to help, I'm good at proofreading English texts (and German, because it also is my first language ;-). Finding 'bumps' in the text flow seems to be easy for me too.

Great!

Nice to see fellow German speakers here.
I think you're just the person I'm looking for. I'll send you a pm.
