Following superb work by Julia P I have just finished amending the formatted manuscript she provided (some other errors I had already seen, plus a couple of revisions, as well as copyright, 'other books by', etc) and now published it on Kindle. It will take a day or three to surface, but it will be along in short order. Remember that this site provides links to Amazon that earn commission.

Thanks both

Once again, a reminder that Erin and the site get income, so once anyone who intends to buy it locates it, pretty please link it through BC. I only ever started writing because of the space this site gave me.

I will spend some time later formatting a dead tree version. I have also finished the plotting of the last bits of 'Sisters' and will see about putting that file into shape as well, but not just yet.

At last!!

Love your writing Steph so it took great willpower not to peek at this story in BC so I could read it first in the book I just bought. Thank you

USA comment.

Someone, who may be a reader here, posted the following comment on the book a couple of months ago, on Amazon. I have only just seen it, and I am profoundly touched.

"Read this book to meet this good man. And along the way, enjoy a wonderful tale masterfully written.

It took me fifteen hours and a quarter of a box of tissues to read this novel. This is the story of an exceptionally good man. The story was so moving it frequently reduced me to sobbing. Not in sadness but in joy. In another novel, one of Calvert's characters exhorts 'be excellent to one another'. And the protagonist of this novel lives this paradigm to the maximum of his ability.

I have read all (I think) of Calvert's prior work. It is very good. This novel is so far beyond good as to beggar my vocabulary in attempting to describe it. Let me just say this: There is a saying that what can be imagined can be achieved. Calvert has imagined a truly good human being. Let us all strive to achieve her vision. Even if we fall short, the result will be glorious."
