I don't see it... Perhaps my customized Yahoo view didn't include that story. How about a direct link to the article? People might be reading your post for some time to come, long after that story is no longer on Yahoo's generic front page.

Ummmm....
The claim is slightly askew... the man in question was born female and never had his female reproductive organs removed.
The semantics of this situation and how it is entitled and described, with its attendant circumstances, could quite possibly cast the transgender community in a negative light (depending on who has control of the spin).

I honestly don't understand why this is even news...
I person who was born genetic female but transitioned to male via testosterone and mastectomy is pregnant. The person never had a radical hysterectomy so everything was still there but dormant. The now legal HE marries a woman who had a hysterectomy and can't have kids. The man goes off of T and the dormant systems come back to life and he is fertile again. Becomes pregnant and the happily married couple has a baby. If they don't want more he can go back on the testosterone.
This isn't the same as a MTF becoming pregnant which would be HUGE news, or a born XY male becoming pregnant. It's interesting as human interest goes, but I don't think it's worthy of major news. I also don't understand why it would reflect negatively on the T community. He didn't make a mistake and decide to reverse and become a woman again, he is just exercising his reproductive rights in the only manner available to him and his wife.
