ok. just to let everybody know. LNP 29 will not be posted this friday. The reason why is simple. I have to write two versions of it. the chapter posted here will have an epilogue in it and the amazon version will lead into a 30th chapter.

Amazon Version

So, if I go to Amazon, I can easily see a continuation of the story?

Bonus!

If I remember correctly, you did this for Frills as well and the extra material was _so_ worth it! No to mention the added benefit of being able to support you in continuing to offer us these wonderful tales. :)

not very fair

To everyone who has been following it here. I think it's quite disrespectful in fact

I do not post Gaby et al here as I write them. Buy the books as they are released and you get the full thing but if you can't/don't want to do that, well if you are patient you will get the 'as printed' version in full here. So okay you might have to wait a while but you won't miss anything and by reading here you also get extra tidbits that aren't in the published volumes - maybe pictures or short stories.

To say the least i'm disappointed Snowfall.

I disagree

It's Snowfall's story, what and how she decides to do is her business.

I'm just hoping one day to see The late night princess and the Lessa books in paperback one day so that I can add them to my bookshelf :) (The same goes for Jessie's Books)

We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

I must respectfully disagree

Maddy, your choice is to release for retail first then release here with possible

"extra tidbits that aren't in the published volumes."

Alecia has chosen to release here and then on Kindle with (if I read her blog right) the epilogue expanded into another chapter, either way the story is complete, it just gives those that purchase more for their money.

It's all good

As a fan of both Gaby and Late Night Princess, I don't feel slighted in any way by either strategy. Whether abridged or delayed, I'm just grateful that you make these great stories available to everyone to read.

Cheers, I hope you are both successful in the sales department!

Goody Goody

Same as Frills more content in the book. Thank you Snowfall, and when LNP29 does come out here I will be reading. Then I will go over to Amazon and get the book for more goodies.

Hi

First off I would like to say I love the late night princess story. As I read your masterfully crafted sentences I feel as though I'm living life through Dawn's eyes. Through your stories I get a small glimpse of the life I want to lead, life as I girl. I'm so lucky that my parents aren't tech savvy or they would have discovered that I'm transgender, and that I visit this website to feel alive at least for a little while. If they found out my life would be in shambles. Due to their views and beliefs I have had to hide and watch on in horror as my body betrayed me. If they knew they would disown me I would be homeless in a rural are where it's miles from any town. I would love to but it on amazon and support you, but I can't.

I'll read it here and buy it on Amazon

to support the author. I for one give constant thanks to the writers who post their work here where we can read it for free. Whether it's sold first or posted first, we still can read even if we choose not to buy. I've bought all of the Gaby books, even though I collect the first several as they were posted. Support the site and the authors people... and "keep it friendly."

Much like I did with Frills,

Much like I did with Frills, I'll enjoy reading what goes up here, and then once it's up on Amazon I'll buy that and have fun getting that expanded ending.

No worries

Post them as you finish them. It's been an absolutely delightful story to read, and I remain interested to see the endings (both of them - I suspect I'll be grabbing the Kindle book quickly once it is released.

Do You Have a Target?

Do you have a release target for the final chapter and then the epilogue?

I appreciate your approach of publishing a leaner version of a story here before you publish a higher content version on Amazon. I also appreciate Maddy Bell's approach of providing previously released versions of her stories here. Both methods provide the opportunity for those of limited means to enjoy the stories. Thank you to both authors (and to all the authors that post their stories here) for sharing.
