A while back I had a throwaway line in my story Blinding revelations.

"I must have still been high from buying my own dress, because I headed right into the lingerie department without a second thought. Hell, this is Wal-Mart - if they sold whole cows no one would blink if you threw a side of beef, dripping and bloody, into your cart and toddled through the registers. Well, maybe the guy who had to clean the floors might object, but a boy buying a bra, ho-hum!"

Imagine my surprise when this News Item appeared in my Facebook feed. Maybe I should write a positive story about politics - perhaps it would point the world in a better direction.

That's right outside of

Richmond, VA not some little podunk little town with only one cop and no stoplights.

Best or worst I have seen at Walmart, was visiting family around an hour away from where that deer in the shopping cart occurred. My 24 year old at the time daughter was with me and the grandbaby. Drove to Walmart to buy her more disposable diapers. Saw some girl my daughter's age or less, probably around 5'4" that was so obese the girl's shape was literally round.

While I would never make fun of anyone that is over weight, the tight top that displayed her over abundance of cleavage along with the tight and very short black mini-skirt screamed at me. I leaned over so only my daughter could hear me and told her, "Now that is something you can only see at Walmart."

We the willing, led by the unsure. Have been doing so much with so little for so long,
We are now qualified to do anything with nothing.
