interesting read despite
the glaring misunderstandings in the first article. saying that transgender in essence change their gender, they have it backwards, and a few other things that are "iffy" i think.
love the stance on the second article, we are all different so long as its nature, not administrative.

Maybe I missed the purpose
Maybe I missed the purpose for separating that competition for males and females ... I thought it was to recognize the running performance for those born without testes. If the article is correct, while her gender may well be female, her body contains testes which are producing amounts of testosterone well above those present in women who were born without that "feature." In this competition, that "feature" does provide a distinct advantage.
How to be fair to this one runner but also be fair to the rest of the competitors? Dunno!
