to many of you, but it's a first for me. I've never been able to cross my legs while seated, the way women can. Yesterday, while watching television, I casually crossed my legs...knee over knee!!!!! It took a few seconds for the information to reach what I laughingly call a brain, but when it did I laughed and called to the the attention of my housemate who was watching tv with me. She looked at me and smiled.
I don't know if it's because of weight loss or the thong I was wearing keeping things nicely tucked, but whatever caused me to suddenly be able to do that made me smile. One more hurdle leaped... or one more river crossed? (Get it? Crossed?) Ah, I kill me! LOL!!

Milestones...
...are different for different people. It sounds to me as if this were one of yours. I would caution you about generalizations. I know women who cannot cross their legs this way. I know others who can, but never do.
In any event, congratulations!
Take pride in something that obviously means a lot to you and always try to remember these moments of happiness when you find yourself struggling.
Be kind to those who are unkind, tolerant toward those who treat you with intolerance, loving to those who withhold their love, and always smile through the pains of life.

I didn't realize that this was a problem, I have always crossed my legs like that. Though I know my body is weird, since I am more flexible than most people. ( while doing ballroom dancing one instructor mentioned I often make it look like I don't have any skeleton. )
