My friend, Jenn C who is one of our Author's here was with her Mom when she passed at 0449 this morning in Texas. Jenn C is now resting after taking care of getting her Mom picked up from home to a Funeral Home. Jenn informed me of what happened earlier this morning and asked me to post this information on the Transgender Trekkie's page on Facebook. I did so because Jenn is my First Officer on the USS Jorgensen, NCC 1952 and I am one of the Admin's for that page. I also posted to Jenn's Starwar's Transgender Fan Page. I am now also doing so here because there are people here who have read her poetry and I felt it was right to let her fan's know what is happening with her. :(

Not the best mothers day for her either. Having lost two moms to cancer mothers day has lost its appeal.

No one can know how she feels
Your friend needs your support. Although they mean well when people say, "I know how you feel." They really can't know. We may have lost our parents but it is different for each person. Tell your friend, there is life after life and her mother is there. I don't tell you this from an abstract view or something I heard. I tell you from first person experience. It isn't the ones we lost but us who are left behind with the empty in our heart who hurt.
Words will never replace those who have gone ahead of us. In time we will be reunited with our loved ones as we leave loved ones behind as we were left at some time in this mortal life. The best we can do is make sure their life wasn't wasted in sharing it with us.
May God give Jenn comfort in her time of loss
