Early on monday evening an attacker attempted to burn down the Centre métropolitain de chirurgie in Montreal; the only place in Canada you can get GRS. It is also the practice of Dr Pierre Brassard, one of the top GRS surgeons practicing anywhere.

Whilst it may be premature to start assuming that this was a deliberate attack against those seeking to treat Gender Dysphoria, but following some of the vitriol and hate being openly spouted south of the Canadian border I imagine it will not be the last such incident.
One of the big concerns mentioned in the article were the delays to waiting times for operations this attack will have caused (of course, if the attack had been on the GIC at Charing Cross it would probably have speeded things up!).

I lived in Canada for a summer (Carnavon, Ontario - 1969). That was the summer of the moon landing and deep into the Vietnam War. Countless Canadians invited me to come back if I didn't want to be drafted.
I apologize for any nonsense that our politicians have allowed to flow North. You deserve better. Thankfully all the TG bashers are now out of the race (at least for now).

While I hold no torch for
the Catholic church, when I had surgery many moons ago, someone I hardly knew had a mass celebrated for my safe return, which although an unbeliever touched me greatly. When I went to think them afterwards, they told me they thought I was very brave and there was me thinking I was just crazy.
