Blog About:

There have been a few blogs lately about the shortage of new stories.

It happens.

Luckily there is more fiction on this site than anyone could ever possibly read. Unless they're super-human and there’s plenty of fiction about that!

The following is a list of authors that I would recommend.

Jenny Walker
Laika
Susan Brown
Jill Micayla
Joyce Melton
Adonna
Bailey Summers
Arecee
Randalynn
C. Sprite
Heather Rose Brown
Rasufelle
Susan Heywood
Michelle Wilder
Melanie Brown
Kristine Roland
Maggie Finson

This list is in no particular order and was assembled in about five minutes . . . so I’m sure I’m missing many splendid BC authors.

If you’re going to start with any one of these I would suggest Jenny Walker’s “No Half Measures”.

Of course, I’ve probably spent more time reading my own stories than anyone else’s. If I wasn’t me, I would have me on the list. But, if I wasn’t me, would I be here to make a list?

Good reading. And my sincerest apologies to those many authors I love who I senior-momented this morning.

I posted yesterday

I post the same thing yesterday about looking up story series from the past . There is some very good stories that new members can go read and I am sure there is something for everybody read style

....and bright copper kettles....

I would like to add Paula Dillon, Katie Leone, Maddy Bell's Gabyverse and Morpheus to the list. I enjoy reading their stories multiple times and find myself enthralled each and every time.

Jenny Walker

Breaking Cover is one of my favorites.

Karen Page's 'A new Style of Education' is a classic too.

Thank You

I actually was honored in that Jenny asked me to act as her editor on Breaking Cover and Chasing Hope. She certainly didn't need my help, but probably sensed I needed the activity. She's one of the world's sweetest people.

I love Peaches too

I'm just sad that she's not writing any more.

She seems like a great person from her writing.

Erin Halfelven reminds me of some of my favorite writers from years ago.

She reminds me of Zenna Henderson and Ray Bradbury.
