I haven't been very active on the site the last couple of weeks, but I promise, there's good reasons!
I've moved. Not far, just from my parents' to my Aunt Paula's place, but the change in my situation will, with any luck, be significant. Why? Because my aunt lives within walking distance of places I can work. I've managed to put in more applications in the last week than I've found opportunities for in the last year, and I've got more to try later this week too. Not only can I walk if I need to, but my aunt has a scooter my uncle is going to teach me to drive, so I'll even have motorized transport should I need it!
So, all in all, it has the potential to be a better situation for me.
Oh, also, they have cable internet, which means no more bandwidth limitations! YAY!
Anyway, the downside of a lot of that is that things are a bit hectic at the moment, keeping me busy with getting things sorted out in my new living quarters as well as searching for work, so my time here on BC is a bit more limited than usual. I'm under a bit of a time crunch: if I can't find a job in about a month I'm going to have to move back to my parents', and that'll basically be the death knell for any job prospects I have.

I will think only positive thoughts for your situation. There has to be someone who will hire you. Even if it is working from 11 to 7 at 7-11 (me).

if you are looking for a Job what city will you be in?
I know for a fact that Apple is looking for In Home techsupport people in certain cities and the main thing is to be good with people over a phone, and have a decent internet connection.
5 meg down/ 1 meg up. They also give an allowance for both phone and internet connections for the possition, I cant go for it right now because I live in a area where the internet service does not qualify. but I am going to try and get a job with the in Austin since i would have to move anyway.
