I just finished an excellent book that I think many people here would appreciate, it even has transgender elements. :) Purchases through the Amazon link below earn BC about 5% but I bought mine at the local Barnes and Noble. It's a good book. It made me think of Aardvark on Kryptonian Steroids. :)

Pump me up
I bought that book a few years ago and never regretted reading it. Superb alternative history. It's a little disturbing and one of those books that stays with you. Very thoughtful and hard to describe further without giving away the basic premise.

Thick Book
You need to pump up to lift this thing. :) Almost 800 pages. Ought to have known you had read it. :)
