I have managed to paint myself into a virtual corner, and I am unsure how to proceed. In addition to my novel for publication, I have a slew of stories currently in production for BigCloset. If I'm going to get anything posted, I need to focus on one of them at a time. The question I want to throw out there is for the folks who read my stuff -- what do you want to see first?
Here's what's I'm currently working on (not including my Stardust story contest entry):
No Obligation, Part 16
The Hardest Battle, Part 3 (and hopefully, the conclusion)
Stark: Rescuing Robin (the sequel to Robin Goodgirl by Lanie Lee)

I'd advise you to just finish whatever is easiest for you. If you have three puppies, each puppy off the plate is one less puppy. (Is that profound or infantile?) :)

if the novel is important to your career, it comes first, a no-brainer. So does family.
I agree with aardvark. Finish the one that is easiest. That is likely The Hardest Battle -- you seem to think this is the end chapter. But if you are stuck or the story takes off again ... Here's hoping the proper ending comes to you unambiguos and satisfing. Clearing part of the plate or your deskpace would help.
From your previous hints Stark is entering endgame. You said the Lannie Lee sequal is a key to setting up Starks solution to his/her dilemna. But that still implies several chapters. I know you are not one to rush a good ending.
No Obligation is just heating up. There could be many chapters to go. Even if starting Leander on the path to redemption/freedom and the resolving of the cat goddess/transformed boys storyline is the end of *Book One*, that is a number of chapters minium.

P.S. In support of your brave posting of your photo, I propose us fellow *authors* post ours. I have some professional photos I could post. They are probably the best ever taken of me. My concern is the legal aspects as I am naked and may be under 18. Hours that is, not years. I was a cute thing then, but weren't we all?

Help or advice?
My only 'advice' is writing-unconnected, and it boils down to Abraham Maslow - the first of your needs is food and shelter, and presumably that means the novel comes first.
When we move up the hierarchy to self-esteem, I assume that being published here is part of that.
My first, second and third choice would be 'No Obligation'; but for practical purposes I will settle quite happily for you following the advice of thise who actually write. As a non-writer, I would not presume to 'advise'.

I would like to see No Obligation 16. However, as others have said, you should concentrate on what will benefit you most. There, wasn't that helpful?
Oh and Aardvark - I DO NOT want to know why you would even think about having puppies on a plate.

Seriously though, I've been very impressed with all of your work, and I'll be happy to read whatever you feel like writing. It is refreshing to have an author give us characters who don't just give up when things get tough.
