Attacking another nation, when and how they would do it
These are the same group of people who are so adamant those who are transgender can't be trusted to serve, we don't exist in the human genome, and Trump wiped all forms of IDs as much as possible.
Give it careful thought, we are the threat to the nation and the human population?.
Take your pick, was it KARMA or Murphy who pulled this one off?

The Buck Stops Where?
They're all running away like crazy and blaming Hesketh...who is a hapless idiot... but who put him there? Remember the sign on Harry Truman's desk..."The Buck Stops Here".

Look at what we can do, and you can't do a damn thing about it.

NASA ENgineers and Scientists
Remember several very attractive women who were part of the NASA program in one division or another were transgender. One in particular was a scientist and another was an engineer. I've lost or can't find the reference to either of the ladies. If anyone has an idea where I might find the articles about any trans women working for NASA please DM me.
Stephanie Langhoff, Ph.D.was a third lady working at NASA. Time and years means all of those from the past are beyond Trump's directives now. A heads up, be really careful about being exposed now as Trump may still erase one's passport and my own gov Stitt may erase the driver's license. One of the girls in Florida got both erased by DeSantis. She was warned she could face fraud charges for changing her license and passport.
Thanks, Barb

Chip designer and computer genius.
Then there's Wendy Carlos the musician.
Both amazing women who happened to be trans.
There's a two panel cartoon doing the rounds, where the first frame has scientists fleeing the Nazis in Europe and heading to America, with the second panel showing scientists fleeing the Nazis in the USA and heading to Europe..
No surprises
Trump has been a political figure for ten years. His last campaign was clear about several things. He would surround himself with loyalists and use the federal government to exact revenge for his personal grievances. He would crack down on immigration of all kinds. And, he would go after the transgender community. Hard. Anyone who voted for him either wanted these things or didn't care about them enough for it to change their vote.

Leopards
There is a meme that goes "When I voted for the Face-Ripping Leopard Party, I didn't think they would rip MY face!"
I've seen quite a lot of those appearing in real life right now, such as the number of 'Latinos For Trump' voters who are in the early stages of the second part of FAFO, and the are indeed Finding Out. I saw that with two of the utterly vile UK trans hate networks, a couple which just about managed to avoid full-on integration with the extreme right*. They both cheered on Agent Orange when he pushed his 'freedom of belief' crap in the case of medical treatment, because it could, and did, mean trans people would die, something which one of the two groups had explicitly wished for.
It turned out, of course, that cis women were being refused treatment because they had done Bad Things, such as having had an abortion, or used contraceptives. That group wrote to the Americans, effectively saying "That's not what we thought you meant"; trans groups had been warning them for years. They did the same when Roe V Wade was thrown out. Reality has sharpteeth.
There ia an extension I created in my own head to that meme, which is "... but I'm sure the leopards will give my face back later, once all [bad group] has been ripped"
That's what I'm seeing now. "Oh, losing some of our rights is fine while we get rid of the transez, and it will be no problem to get them back later". Cis privilege has blinded them.
*The other group (DM me for details) has folded, because their leadership has recognised that as their core belief is shared with fascists, that is who they are directly working with. I offer them the most grudging hint of respect for that, leavened with "Haven't you heard anything we've been telling you, for years?"
Lyrics from a folk song
I remember a folk song from the Vietnam era that reflected on the Nürenberg trials shortly after World War 2.
Pete Seeger wrote the song “My Name Is Lisa Kalvelage” based on a press statement of Lisa Kalvelage (1923-2009) after her trial for protesting against the napalm bombing of Vietnam in 1966.
The short Wikipedia article on Lisa Kalvelage really is a rather potent food for thought.
I also vaguely remember another folk song from that same era, that basically told a similar story: “When they came for the cripples, I did nothing. When they came for the blacks, I did nothing. When they came for the Jews, I did nothing. [etcetera through a litany of “undesirables”] And then they came for me, but there was nobody there to help ME.” Unfortunately I can not find the reference to a specific song right now.

Thank you for the link.
I am including the full quote here, because it bears on the current times:
I think we can easily substitute any and all minorities and/or marginalized groups in that writing of Friedrich Gustav Emil Martin Niemöller (1892-1984), after he survived the Sachsenhausen and Dachau concentration camps in Nazi Germany.
Military Ban on Transgender
The judge made a very good case against flushing transgender out of the military. For now transgender may not be removed if trans is the only reason.
"On Wednesday, Reyes acknowledged that Military Department Identification Guidance (MIDI Guidance) is new, but the argument presented by the defense is not.
"Defendants re-emphasize their ‘consistent position that the [Hegseth] Policy is concerned with the military readiness, deployability, and costs associated with a medical condition,’" the judge wrote. "Regulating gender dysphoria is no different than regulating bipolar disorder, eating disorders, or suicidality. The Military Ban regulates a medical condition, they insist, not people. And therein lies the problem."
