and very annoyed
I've just spent an hour and a half crafting todays blog entry, i finished, did the preview thing then accidently closed the browser! Fed up is putting it mildly. I really don't have the will to try to recreate it so here are the bullet points.
- Thursday bike ride 96km
- Friday made meat and potato pie
- Saturday bike ride 97km
- Sunday posted new Gaby chapter
Upcoming
- Tuesday bike ride to New Forest
- Wednesday bike ride on Isle of Wight
- Thursday bike ride to see Angharad in Dorchester
There won't be a proper Wednesday post due to limited access

Yuck, been there
The "ah, there's no back button for that, is there?" tries to rewind time 10 seconds..
(sigh) fills all the form details/text/mail in again.
Anyway, hope the sun is shining down there.

... Sigh ... Been there, done that. Maybe at work ...
My browser [1] is pretty good at recovering one or more closed -tabs-: CTRL-SHIFT-T After closing the entire browser ... I would not bet a stick of chewing gum, sigh.
In the Closet, we can "Verify" our (proposed) Post/Blog as many times as we like, updating the verified version each time. As you know, only when we Save, do others see it.
Or we may prefer the capabilities of our favorite word processer, saving to disk as often as we like (almost always, a one handed CTRL-S). Then, (for my editor), CTRL-A then CTRL-C (Select All text, Copy all selected text.) Back in the Closet, use CTRL-V to paste saved text into the Post. (Letter "v" looks like the on-paper proofreader's/editor's mark for "insert here".)

My current browser is "Iron", from https://portableapps.com/. Download the menu system first, then download apps via the menu system. All is =free=. Make a mistake? Don't like some app or results? Uninstall, or delete the affected directory.
=No consequences=. Except the default is for apps to store your documents in the Application's directory. So, for the very first save of any document, put it where -you- want it.
PS: Portable Apps doesn't care where it "lives". Hard-drive, USB drive, memory stick ... No problems.
PPS: =Nice!!= nails.
