of summer! Farewell September, hello October.

Yep, as i write this the weather outside is decidedly autumnal, damp and windy and over the last few days there has been a bit of a nip in the air at times.

It's been a busy few days, we have company so things haven't quite followed the usual programme. On Thursday i went out for a hundred kilo ride, bit breezy but mostly dry and even sunny although there was a goodly amount of wet in places after Wednesdays dampness. I arrived back seconds behind our guest's arrival so that worked out okay. Once everyone was settled and newly clean we enjoyed a homemade spag bol before talking the night away.

Friday we drove down to Cheddar Gorge for a walk in the (mostly) sunshine taking in some of the local sights on the way. The forecast for Saturday was the best of the weekend so it was a two wheeled tour of Bath before meeting Aunty Bev for Tea and cake before riding back to Brizzle. Today it was back to Shanksy's for a walk from the Clifton Bridge, via the Cabot Tower to the SS Great Britain where we met Aunty Bev before 'doing' the first ocean liner. We've finished the day with a curry - well why not?

Which is why this post is quite late in the day, there is a new Gaby chapter, A Clear Head which sees our Gab's back on her own two wheels but of course with Ms Bond nothing is ever that simple!

Tomorrow we are all off to Dorsetshire to visit the famous author, Angharad, the weather is looking a bit rubbish but we'll be in a tin box so that's okay. Our guest departs sparrowfart on Tuesday to return to GOC so i'll hopefully be out for a ride, i'll be back here on Wednesday.
Tschuss,
Madeline Anafrid
