So, I popped onto the site this morning see a slew of comments on stories I hadn’t read. Then my eyes bugged out, because some of the comments were from the amazingly talented Maggie Finson. Talented . . . and much missed.
Alas, it was not a sign that Maggie has returned to us. But is there a reason why the comment board is suddenly flooded with comments posted over a decade ago? |

As long as we are using the eraser let's go for sixty. I may easily give up that many and still be legal for everything besides robbing liquor stores and banks. On second thought..., nah, I'll ride this one out. Too close to the finish line to quit now. I sure don't want to live this boy-girl mix master all over again. Once is enough for me.
Each life cycle is a treasured gift. Some remember the previous one or ones. Fascinating to look at other's past lives. No kings, queens, mostly shepherds, fishermen, warriors, sailors, pioneers, lives of mostly common ordinary people. History is mostly made of lies but then who was there at that time to dispute it now? They were but they aren't now.

50 years ago was one oft the best periods in my life. I had a great time in school.

My youngest was a toddler and I was just starting to deal with my transgender issues. It was also a rough time in my marriage. Things were so bad that I knew of people who had divorced for less problems.
It was also pre-internet so this fine community didn't exist. So fifty would be too deep a cut. But I'd go for fifteen if I could know then, what I know now..

was horrible for me. I could not wait to leave the bullies behind.
School was horrible because if you did your homework then you were beaten up or had it stolen by the bullies and submitted (After copying into their own scrawl) as their own and I was the one copying them.
That was resolved by us setting a trap for them with the deputy head but I paid for it by having a broom handle shoved into the front wheel of my bike when going home.
I had the last laugh as only a few years later, I returned to town with an Engineering Degree in my pocket. The bullies? Two ended up serving life for murder. Don't need to say more.
School sucked big time.

I was cleaning up
Randalynn's story directory from a bug that messed text up and went to cleaning up the comment's too. It was the bug that had those weird characters in it. If it didn't put them up on the side like the site does, I would prefer that :/
