Yep, its Easter Sunday, a big day for god botherers, an excuse to eat chocolate for everyone else! And of course, on the right side of the pond the clocks moved forward to summertime last night.

So, other stuff. I had, as previously mentioned, planned on a trip to Imber this weekend, but my plans were destroyed as the PO failed to deliver the tyre that Foxy needs - i'm not prepared to chance an iffy tyre on an eighty mile ride to a spot thats about as remote as you get in this part of the world. Add to that the failure of the banking system to work even half cock and you find me not in the best of humour.

And then it got worse. News came down the line that Dad had a fall early Saturday morning, eventually the prognosis was a hip fracture that needed surgery, which is due to happen this morning. He's never been the most robust individual and at 93 his general health is a bit of a roller coaster, this may be the straw. So forgive me for being a bit out of sorts, i need a good long ride but that's not gonna happen for a few days by the looks of it. In the meantime i worry as i wait for news.

I've posted the next Gaby chapter, Dream World is a bit shorter than usual but i hope you enjoy it just the same.

Believe it or not, today is the only day of the year that you can't go shopping, even to a DIY or garden centre, in the UK. Oh there will be a few corner shops and fuel stations open but the national sport of shopping is out so anywhere that can be open will be rammed with 'Sunday drivers', which makes it a nightmare to do anything. I will go for a walk later, once the joint is in the oven - Aunty Bev over did things a little, its a whole leg of lamb, a huge lump of meat, we'll be eating lamb for weeks! So its a full lamb roast which i'll crack on with once i'm done here.
