Don't know why, but my thoughts recently have been on the Kids Kamp universe of stories. I know they go back a ways. If I recall correctly, some of the authors were:
Holly H Hart
Maggie the Kitten
Shalimar
Who were some of the other authors?
Does anyone remember what the first few stories in this series were? Who was the original author?

Camp Kumani
Camp Kumoni by Anastasia Allread was a serial that at one time was one of the most popular stories on this site.
Every chapter was heavily debated on where she would take it next.
I actually included an homage to it in my own Kelly Anderson story, Absolutely loved Camp K.
Long live Erica!
Okay rereading this when I am
Okay rereading this when I am actually awake, I realize that Kids Kamp was a specific universe. I had not read them, so didn’t recognize that last night. Still, it did make me think of Anastasia’s story, and that can never be a bad thing!

Good point - this is a series/world on the site - - There is a story tag for this series/universe, so it is a search category
Little Kids Kamp by Jenna Hitch, Maggie the Kitten and shalimar
I recognize a lot of the stories in that two page list of stories, but not all of them. Shalimar, Maggie the Kitten, Heather Rose Brown, and Holly H Hart gave me a lot of inspiration when I first started visiting this site. It will be fun re-reading their stories. I don't recognize the name Jenna Hitch and I don't see any stories by her in the list. I wonder if she's the original writer of this universe?

Wider Universe
As I look more into this, I must note that this universe is bigger than the Kids Kamp stories. I found a PM exchange between Maggie the Kitten and myself where I was looking for the story where the Character Maggie became the little girl Maggie. That story:
The Kitten Tail
This story and others do not have the Kids Kamp tag, but from my point of view they are part of the universe, just maybe not going to Kids Kamp itself.
