Just curious, but who takes advantage of the "favorites" button? How good does a story have to be before you'll use it?

I have used my favourites button when a story touches me, and makes me want to reread it, and each time it is still fresh and hits the same emotional buttons . I have five stories and one series in my favourites at present.

If I read the whole post, it gets a like.
If it's something I think I'll read more than thrice, it'll be bookmarked.
If I really love it, it'll be favorited. It has to have some combination of excellent writing, plot, character, author, setting, or elements.

I really like the account bookmark functionality, but I'm a prolific bookmarker. I have 150 bookmarks, but only 12 favorites.

That said, I wish more people who write serials would create proper book pages instead of nesting under Chapter 1.

I use the favorite button if I remember to but I don't always remember.... :(

I favorite stories based on if I like it or not. It doesn't even have to be good, and can be bad as far as writing goes.
