This morning I found a wonderful surprise waiting for me. Gwenellen commented on "Peaches." Not the updated version of "Peaches" that Erin has for sale -- she commented on the version of "Peaches" that was posted here two years ago.

It isn't strange for old stories to get hits, my average "old" story (one that is no longer on the front page) seems to get forty to one hundred hits a month. It is, however, very odd for someone to take the time to comment on an old story.

Authors need pick-me-ups. They don't only need instant feedback. If an "old" story strikes you as being of interest, please comment, it means the world to most of us who write.

Thank you Gwenellen, for being so compassionate. - Jill

Super Comments

...aren't just for old stories or new ones, they are for every author that has submitted their works. Each one deserves a super comment for having taken the time to create a tale from their mind and allow us to view it for essentially free.

Each author is super for having posted here. Super for having a caring heart to share their experiences whether straight up as non fiction or weaving them into tales. Super for just sharing and being here.

Its not whether someone's writing strikes that deep sympathy chord or not, or even if they made you laugh the most. What matters, is they wrote it for all of you.

Warm Hug to every author here at BigCloset,

Sephrena Lynn Miller

But of course!

But of course you are right Sephrena. I read once that if you want to change the world you have to write. How many here have written a kind word that brought a tear or smile to our lips? The thoughtful story that made you think or perhaps be more tolerant? I thank the writers and community here at BCTS 99 for inspiring me to write as well as the kind words and help to continue once I started.
Hugs!
