Well, I'm finally able to start writing again. I had the aortic valve replaced in my heart August tenth and even though the body was willing, I couldn't wrap my mind around writing. For some reason I just didn't want to write. Today I finished the next installment of Princess and sent it to Sephrena to edit. Hopefully it will be up soon and I'll be able to get my butt in gear to continue the saga. Thanks all for your patience, Arecee

My dad had that same valve replaced in his mid seventies.
That was a good year or so before my mom died in june 2005.
He is now 82, suffers from arthritis in his knees but otherwise is great. He drove me to near Stevens Point and back Saturday to fix the lawn tractor at my cousins cabin. That was almost five hours driving when you include driving 15 or so miles round trip for some parts from the nearest hardware store in.
Cow valve, pig valve or synthetic? Dad who hated farm work on the family dairy/truck farm got the cow valve, Ironic? Yes.

I'm not sure
but it's a tissue valve of some sort. If it's a pig valve, will I be a cannibal if I eat bacon? Does it mean anything if my heart aches when I pass the butcher display at the local Safeway store? And most importantly, why do I have a yearning to eat grass. Does this mean I have a cow valve? Moo. Seriously though, I feel great and am walking for an hour a day now. Modern medicine, wow, Arecee
