Where to start this blog. there's the question.

30 days remain, before I arrive at the Southern Comfort Conference, the biggest TG convention in the world, and yet...

The conference almost pales in my mind, when compared with the excitement of meeting some people I've only talked to on skype, or in chatrooms. And THAT pales in comparison to what might be the most important thing, to me. What happens at the convention, the person I will meet, to see if there can be anything between us, will determine if I leave the convention still alone, or have the chance of beginning something that may very well lead to the two of us sharing the rest of our lives, together.

Additionally, I will be meeting my nephew and his wife, for the very first time since I started living as Cathy, for dinner. What pressure?

Furthermore, Holly, Gwen, Grover and I will be representing you all, and Top Shelf, and we want to do you credit. I plan to blog from the conference, day by day, if I can. We're going to have matching t-shirts with our names, and the Top Shelf logo, as well as the URL for the site. White shirts, with pink print, of course. *giggle*

This is going to be my first REAL vacation in over 30 years, and the first time to be over 200 miles from home, and my own little comfort zone. Am I nervous? Hell yes! But my anticipation overrides my nervousness. What I can gain from this experience, far exceeds any monetary costs I will incur.

I hope, we hope, that we will represent all of you well. If you are attending, look for us. We won't be hard to spot! *giggle* If I can, I will be uploading pics from the convention as well.

Hugs 'n love,
Catherine Linda Michel
